Class Q Barn Conversion in Windley, Derbyshire

This project involved the conversion of a redundant agricultural building in Windley, Derbyshire, into a contemporary countryside home through the Class Q permitted development process.

The design was developed around the existing form, structure and agricultural character of the building, with the aim of creating a high-quality home while retaining the simplicity and identity of the original barn.

The internal layout was carefully planned to create generous, light-filled living spaces with strong views across the surrounding countryside.
